Arranged by referral

Statutory Trust Account Audit

The annual audit the Act requires — arranged through an independent registered auditor.

Referral, by design. We do not sign statutory trust account audits in-house. To protect your independence, we arrange them through an independent registered company auditor and stay alongside you to prepare, respond and remediate.

The problem we solve

Real estate, strata and (adjacent) conveyancer trust accounts must be audited annually and the report lodged on time. To keep that assurance genuinely independent of the people who reconcile the account, the statutory audit should be signed by someone who does not also keep the books.

What's included

Referral to an independent registered company auditor for the statutory audit
Pre-audit readiness so the file is clean before it is examined
Coordination of records, reconciliations and evidence for the auditor
Support responding to any qualifications or findings
A remediation plan where the audit surfaces issues

The outcome

A properly independent statutory audit, lodged on time, with the preparation and follow-through handled around it.
